You wander around Boulder, Colorado and you wonder what everyone else is doing living somewhere else. Yes, there's the huge hippie factor, the wannabe cool college students, the homeless led by 'The Captain' living down on the Pearl St. Mall in front of Starbucks every day, and the crazy politics. But ignore it. Just ignore it all for awhile and go for a hike on the Mesa Trail toward The Flatirons, or along the Bobolink Trail, or anywhere else. Instantly, you're removed from all things cement, sound and sensational.
If you've never spent a weekend in Boulder, you should. Whether you can stand the politics or not.
